This role focuses on driving sales growth and building strong customer relationships across residential, commercial, and small utility projects. It blends sales expertise with technical knowledge to effectively promote and sell company solutions. Working closely with the Sales Manager, the candidate will help achieve sales targets while providing technical support to meet customer needs.
Main Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new and existing sales opportunities with PV & BESS EPCs, Developers, and Consultants for residential, commercial, and small utility-scale projects.
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, meetings, and follow-ups.
Conduct customer visits to understand needs, showcase products, and close sales opportunities.
Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract finalization, including proposal development and negotiation.
Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product development, and marketing) to align on customer needs and product enhancements.
Monitor industry trends and analyze customer feedback to ensure satisfaction and drive product improvements.
Develop in-depth knowledge of company products to effectively upsell and cross-sell.
Provide regular reports to management on customer requirements and market trends.
Travel domestically and internationally to attend client meetings, industry events, and support account management.
Education and Work Experience Requirements:
Must be available for customer meetings or calls as needed.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
Excellent presentation skills, including experience interacting with C-level executives, decision-makers, and market regulators.
Ability to manage relationships across multiple accounts and stakeholders with organizational clarity.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and complete assignments efficiently.
Strong time management skills, including timely reporting and proactive support requests.
Bachelor's degree in an energy-related field preferred or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
