The Maintenance Engineer is responsible for maintaining, inspecting, and repairing industrial machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency. This role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and enhance reliability in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs on industrial machinery (e.g., CNC, conveyors, HVAC).
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using technical manuals and schematics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical challenges.
Ensure adherence to OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
Conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and staff training on best practices.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history using CMMS.
Oversee spare parts inventory, procurement, and supplier coordination.
Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades and process optimizations to enhance efficiency.
Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies.
Lead installation, commissioning, and upgrade projects for new equipment.
Work closely with production and engineering teams to align maintenance strategies with operational goals.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
Experience: 3–5 years in industrial maintenance with knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and hydraulic systems.
Skills:
Proficiency in CMMS, hand/power tools, and reading technical schematics.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
