Oversee and resolve all engineering issues within the hotel, conduct daily maintenance checks, and repair MEP equipment. Manage and lead the engineering team to ensure an exceptional experience for guests and members.
40% – Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring all systems are functional. Respond to reactive maintenance calls, assign tasks, manage team members, and inspect the property as needed.
25% – Conduct room inspections, ensuring all systems are operational. Take necessary actions to maintain guest satisfaction.
10% – Obtain required work permits for both in-house and outsourced teams.
10% – Prepare and submit daily status reports to the engineer.
In addition to the essential functions, this position may require performing the following supportive tasks as determined by the supervisor based on business needs:
Assume responsibilities of the superior or other supervisors in their absence.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management, based on operational requirements.
This role requires experience using basic hand and power tools, along with the physical ability to:
Stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push, and pull weights up to 80 lbs.
Climb ladders up to 40 feet high and reach in all directions, including overhead.
Perform tasks such as lifting cartons or boxes, climbing step stools, and opening file drawers.
