We are seeking an Operations Manager to supervise the planning and execution of well-organized, cost-effective exhibitions. In this position, you will collaborate directly with contractors, implement operational best practices, and assist event teams from several regions. Your primary focus will be on ensuring a seamless event delivery, meeting deadlines, remaining within budget, and offering great client service.
Ensure efficient administrative systems are in place for smooth exhibition operations.
Oversee the setup and breakdown of exhibitions, managing contractors for engineering, security, graphics, cleaning, electrical, seating, rigging, and more.
Ensure exhibitor manuals are user-friendly and efficient.
Monitor exhibitor information to ensure a smooth and trouble-free event.
Make sure all stand designs and health & safety documents meet venue regulations.
Improve exhibitor relationships to provide better customer service.
Support sales, marketing, sponsorship, and event directors with logistics.
Work with marketing teams to design cost-effective, impactful signage.
Create an engaging and enjoyable experience for visitors.
Collect safety policies from main contractors.
Prepare health and safety reports after each event with improvement suggestions.
Conduct accident investigations if needed.
Ensure all teams are aware of emergency procedures.
Create risk assessments and method statements for each show.
Promote a positive safety culture among suppliers and venues.
Senior-level operations experience in large-scale international events, preferably in the Middle East.
Strong English & Arabic communication skills (written and verbal).
Knowledge of stand build regulations and venue rules worldwide.
Proficient in Excel, Outlook, AutoCAD, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience managing health & safety in trade exhibitions.
