The Technical Manager - ESCO is responsible for planning and executing Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs), as well as ensuring that energy efficiency initiatives deliver on their promises. They manage the Measurement and Verification (M&V) procedures that track project performance and compliance. The ideal applicant should have advanced qualifications such as CEM (Certified Energy Manager) or CMVP (Certified Measurement & Verification Professional), as well as extensive experience in energy modeling and regression analysis.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Energy Management, or Electrical Engineering.
Certifications include CMVP, CEM, and CEA (required).
Preferred certifications are ISO 50001 and LEED GA.
Valid UAE/GCC/International Driver's License.
At least 10 years in energy efficiency business.
3-4 years as a Technical Manager.
Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, lighting, and building control management systems.
A thorough awareness of energy standards, norms, and regulations.
Experience using building energy simulation software is desired.
Key skills include knowledge in energy management, measurement and verification, and engineering design.
Problem Solving: Demonstrates strong analytical abilities in evaluating energy data and optimizing solutions.
The ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, such as MEP and business development.
Communication and Interpersonal Skills: The ability to establish and develop excellent commercial connections.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, data analytics, and energy analysis tools.
