Description

BESS Control Room Operator shall be responsible for managing the operations of the 450MW Battery Energy Storge System (BESS) in NEOM region. The main objective is to ensure & perform the smooth, reliable & efficient operation of the BESS Plant by ensuring the safety of plant personnel and plant assets.

SKILLS / TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE AREAS:

Professional in Microsoft Operating System (MS office).

Electric/Electronic components fundamental knowledge for basic testing & troubleshooting analysis.
Leadership skill, negotiation skills & interpersonal skills.
Proactively describe the Plant Performance Issues in short & effective way to management.
Knowledge of Battery Energy Storage System Operation & Maintenance philosophy.
Knowledge of different battery chemistry types & their maintenance strategy.
Knowledge of BESS technology challenge such as response time, battery discharging & charging cycles etc.
Advanced analytical, technical skills.
Knowledge of BESS system electrical & electronics components along with their testing equipment’s.
