The Quality Control (QC) Manager in the oil & gas sector will oversee inspection activities on-site, manage resource planning, and ensure safety while meeting project deadlines. With 10+ years of experience and CSWIP 3.1 certification, they will lead inspections, close punch points, prepare reports, and implement the QC plan.
o Work experience - Min 10 yrs in oil & gas sector
o Certification - CSWIP 3.1
o Worked in site projects, able to handle inspection activities, carry out in process inspection, offer to clients, close punch points, prepare inspection reports, compile final documents Responsible for day-to-day basis resource planning, man power management and work force safety at site and meet project deadlines as per schedule.
o Implement the project QC plan and perform QC reviews for all project submittals
o Plan and coordinate on-site QC meetings, QC training, mock-ups and other QC related activity
o Supervise project staff and subcontractor Quality Control Inspectors
o Coordinate and resolve comments on subcontractor Quality Control plans
o Ability to work under pressure, can meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities
o Interacting with customers and third-party inspectors during their site visits/inspections and resolving queries/ concerns.
o Basic knowledge of ASME Sec Vlll Div. 1 / Div. 2, Piping Codes, Material grades, Welding consumables, NDT, TEMA and other Design Codes & Standards
o Basic knowledge of EPC Project Flow and appreciation of other engineering disciplines apart from Mechanical (e.g. E&l, Structure etc.) would be preferred.
o Experience of working in FCC Unit is preferable
